Who We're Built For

We'd rather tell you no than place someone who isn't ready. Knowing our criteria up front means fewer wasted calls for both of us.

  
      Has completed a longer-term program and is ready for the next step
    
      Coming voluntarily — wants the structure rather than tolerating it
    
      Roughly six months of stability behind him
    
      Willing to live in community — accountability, shared responsibility, real conversation
    
      Working or in school, or ready to be within weeks

When we're not the right placement

So You Can Place With Confidence

    
        Active withdrawal, or unmanaged acute medical or psychiatric needs
      
        Anyone unwilling to participate in the structure of the house
      
        We are not a medically staffed or clinically supervised facility
      
        Someone whose primary need is treatment rather than housing
      
    Coming straight from detox? Still call. It isn't our typical placement, but we'd
    rather talk it through than have you assume the answer is no. And if a client isn't a fit today,
    tell us where he is — we'll often say “not yet” rather than “no,”
    and gladly take the call again in ninety days.

One call is enough to start. We'll tell you within a day whether it's worth going further.

Interview

Every resident is interviewed before acceptance — readiness, and which home is the right fit.

Move in

When there's a bed and it's a fit, we move quickly — often within days of the first call.

We stay in touch

Refer someone and you'll hear how he's doing. You should know where your client landed.

Serving Franklin County and the surrounding Western Massachusetts communities. Close to work, transit, and recovery meetings.

Serving Hampden County and the greater Springfield area. Our newest home, opening with the same standards.
